This is a reversible knit scarf that can be worn several different ways. You will be surprised how easy this one row pattern is, knits up quickly using two strains of 4 ply medium worsted weight yarn at the same time. The pattern is knit however the pattern gives it a crochet look to this beautiful scarf. Even though you are using two strands of yarn at the same time, because of the pattern and the size knitting needles used it gives the scarf a more open feel and also provides little vents, making the scarf not too hot, yet it is worn enough for those winter months. The fringe gives it that final touch.
