This fully reversible stitch pattern is one I’ve adapted from a traditional Shetland design called “Candlelight”.
I have arranged the knits and purls in such a way that there is a continuous leaf design on each side of the blanket, with purls and yarnovers between them.
It is simple and fun to knit. The pattern is easily memorized.
I think the effect of the fully reversible leaves is wonderful.
And, it will not matter how your blanket is folded, because it really looks the same on both sides!
Happy Knitting!
