These mittens make a set with the Reversible Hat in the same book. They aren’t reversible!

Yardage listed in hat pattern is for hat and mittens together. Mittens alone will take less yardage, as listed here (an estimate).

They feature a doubled garter stitch striped cuff.

In some versions of this book, this pattern does not appear to be complete. It ends suddenly during instructions for left thumb gusset. The instructions are complete in the magazine.
