A fun and fast Baby Blanket and Lovie set.

The pattern as written uses most of three skeins of yarn, one in each color. If you change the colors or the color sequence, the number of skeins needed will be different. The amount of embroidery thread used is minimal since it’s only for the finishing touches.

The PDF pattern includes a template for alternate color schemes for the blanket/lovie.

A note about gauge. Since the lovie is completed with a smaller hook the stitch gauge is smaller than the blanket. In any case, gauge is not super important for this project. As long as the ears and legs for the puppy match and are not too big for the size of the lovie.
