This ultra-thick headband is made on a long knitting loom, also known as a rake loom, with a gauge of 11/16” and at least 14 total peg pairs (7 on each side).

The pattern calls for worsted weight and features a method of using three strands of yarn as one. Using bulky or super bulky yarn will also work, but this may change your total row count.

The finished headband is slightly tapered at the ends; if you do not want it tapered, you can easily alter the pattern to be one width throughout the project.
