Revhead
I decided to convert the tyre tread pattern from my Roadkill scarf to a knitted version, just for fun. Make something for the motoring enthusiast in your life!
This pattern includes instructions for both a beanie and a cowl. Personally, I think it the design works better on the cowl. Use your favourite colours or mix it up with dark treads on a light background or vice versa.
You can adjust the size of either project slightly by increasing or decreasing the initial cast on by 12 for the beanie, or 4 for the cowl. Note that due to the shaping for the crown, you may have to adjust the pattern when resizing the beanie. The cowl is a lot more forgiving.
Vrrrrroom!
