Reykjavik Hat
A whimsical stocking cap to match my Reykjavik Mittens pattern. It is worked in the round from brim to tip.
For some knitters it may be necessary to go up a needle size or two for the slipped moss stitch and Village Chart. It is very important to keep your floats loose in order to have stretch in the brim of the hat.
Finished Measurements:
Relaxed circumference at brim 18(20.5)” will stretch to fit up to approx 22(25)” head
Length from bottom edge to tip 22” (excluding pom pom)
Yarn: Rowan Felted Tweed
MC: #151 Bilberry, 1 skein
CC: #150 Rage, 1 skein.
Additional materials:
7 stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Pom Pom Maker (available in most craft stores)
