Materials:
Worsted weight yarn (I used JoAnn’s Big Twist Value)
Light gray (110g/225m)
Black (22g/45m)
White (16g/33m)
3mm crochet hook
One pair 12mm safety eyes
Fiberfill stuffing
Stitch marker (optional, but highly recommended)
Scissors
Yarn needle
Straight pins (optional)
Notes:
-Unless otherwise specified, this pattern is worked in continuous rounds.
-When I refer to the raccoon’s left/right eye/hand, I’m referring to the left/right eye/hand from the perspective of the raccoon.
Abbreviations (US terms):
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
inc - single crochet increase
dec - single crochet invisible decrease
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
dcinc - double crochet increase
slst - slip stitch
sts - stitches
MR - magic ring
Rnd - round
R - row
FO - Fasten off
x - Repeat “x” specified number of times
(x) - Number of stitches at end of round
Finished Dimensions:
My raccoon is about 8.25 inches tall when sitting, but size will vary depending on the size of your hook and yarn.
