Rey's Cardigan
Rey (you know, from Star War’s The Force Awakens, just in case you don’t have a house full of children who live and breathe everything from a Galaxy far, far away……), captivated me from the first time I saw her on the screen. She was strong, fierce, yet kind, a survivor who defeats all odds, and the best dressed gal in the Universe if you ask me! Her wardrobe exudes functionality in a defeat all odds for survival kind of way, while remaining super fashionable. This Nine Stones colorway that Stephanie at Space Cadet has created immediately reminded me of Rey’s neutral, yet lovely wardrobe and I knew that I finally found my Jedi cardigan. Not to mention, the drape on the Oriana (isn’t that a perfect name too?) base? Perfection for that desert dwelling duster that is the difference in survival and being taken down by the sun!
I HIGHLY recommend using the Oriana yarn from SpaceCadet to knit this piece, it is the PERFECT pair, and this is such a unique yarn, that it really makes the results stunning! You can find the yarn right here
