RGB Neckwear x 3
This is the next pattern in my RGB series, and we are back to neckwear. My very first RGB pattern was 3 different types of scarves, this is 3 different types of neckwear. There is one classic neck in double ribbing and stockinette, one long, narrow scarf in twisted ribbing on one side and regular ribbing on the other side, and a classic cowl shaped a bit using short rows. This pattern works very well in combination with the other patterns.
The neck in double ribbing and stockinette is knitted top down where you can either knit a longer, classic turtleneck or a shorter neck that is folded double and knitted down. The long, narrow scarf is knitted from one end to the other with increases to the middle and then decreases. The basic cowl in stockinette starts in the middle of the back, you then work your way up to the top and down to the bottom in the front. Before the end, short rows are worked to make it a little longer in the front and back. The cowl is finished by doing short rows on the backpiece as well before knitting the beginning together with the bind off.
