Rhiannon Hap Shawl
by Kath Andrews
“Rhiannon was a great queen from Welsh mythology, and this dramatic hap shawl is named in her honour,” explains Kath Andrews. “It uses a traditional hap shawl construction, beginning with the central square, from which stitches are picked up all around to work the two borders. Once these are finished the knitted-on edging is added, complete with tidy short-row corners.”
Kath’s design is knitted in Cascade’s Alpaca Lace, a very soft, fine 2ply laceweight yarn.
