Rhombus Sweater is a slightly cropped, raglan sleeved sweater with a simple lace pattern on front. It’s worked from top down in Sportweight yarn that’s held double. In the “Yarn” section, you can also find required yarn amounts for working this sweater in single thread Aran weight yarn.
The work begins with neckline shaping which is worked back and forth in rows. After that the fronts are joined and the rest of the upper body is worked in the round. When the raglan increases are completed, sleeve stitches are placed on hold and body is worked in the round towards the hem. Sleeve stitches are then placed back on needles and the sleeves are worked in the round towards the cuffs. Stitches for the neck ribbing are picked up around the neckline and the ribbing is worked in the round. The ribbing is then folded in half and stitched down to the inside of the sweater.
The lace pattern is both charted and fully written out.
