The Rib and Twist Mitten pattern is a simple textured mitten. It has a ribbed back with a few simple offset cables and stockinette front. The mittens are an elevated style of your basic cabled mitten. The rib makes the sizing very forgiving - perfect for gifts!

SIZING: Adult Small (Medium) Large

FINISHED CIRCUMFERENCE: 20cm. The mittens are stretchy and fit approximately a hand circumference between 16-22cm.

There is only one stitch-count for this pattern due to the stretchy fabric. I recommend not having a very dense fabric to not loose this quality. The finished non stretched mitten circumference is approximately 20cm. Remember the measurement depends on what yarn you use. I recommend not using a superwash yarn or anything with nylon if knitting a larger size.

Note. You can stretch the mitten while blocking to your preferred size. My sample could comfortably stretch up to 26cm.

NEEDLES: 3,5mm

GAUGE: 21x30cm after wet blocking in pattern (not stretched)

YARN USAGE: Less than 1 skein of each yarn (50g + 25g)
