1940s ong-sleeved rib cardigan

The pattern is a simple rib with a 4 row repeat made up of knit and purl stitches, making stitches and knitting two stitches together.

Sleeve seam: either 4.5 (for the short-sleeved version) or 18.5 inches

6 ozs Patons Beehive Fingering 3-ply (short sleeves) *
8 ozs of the same wool (long sleeves)
A pair of 3.5 mm (No. 10) needles
Six buttons
