I used Plymouth Encore for my blocks, but any worsted weight will do. Worsted weight gives me 8” blocks. Directions are included in the pattern for adapting to other sizes.

I am finding that when I knit most of the blocks as written with chunky weight yarn, I end up with 10” blocks. Fun!
