INSPIRATION
Rib Welt hood is my contribution to this cozy hood scarf trend - it’s full of texture and fun to knit and it’s seamless! No short rows either :) The hood is shaped with various decreases and there is an i-cord worked as you go.

Cashmere, alpaca mixes are recommended because they even out the difference between the textures and blocking is a must!

US#6/4.00mm – 24”/60cm needles – 2 pairs and three US#4 DPNs

24 sts/26 per 4” in 2x2 rib blocked using US#6/4.00mm needles
22 sts/32 rows per 4” in welted fabric blocked using US#6/4.00mm needles
