This pattern contains a description of how to knit baby bloomers.

MATERIALS:
- short circular needles 40 cm 3 mm (16 in US 2.5);
- circular needles 80 cm 3 mm (32” US 2.5);
- additional circular needles of any length 2-3 mm (US 0 – US 2,5) for temporary storage of “live” stitches when knitting a waistband;
- double-pointed needles (2 pieces) 3 mm (US 2.5);
- markers;
- tape measure;
- tapestry needle
- crochet hook 2-3 mm (US 1-3).
(We use crochet hook to create a crocheted chain. Because we use the chain stitch method to pick up “live” stitches)
MAIN BLOOMERS PATTERN:
Main bloomers pattern – 3x1 ribbing (K3, P1).
GAUGE OF MAIN BLOOMERS PATTERN:
26 stitches х 32 rows = 10x10 cm (4x4”) for knitting 3x1 ribbing on 3 mm (US 2.5) needles after blocking.
YARN: merino wool, merino wool + alpaca (170-190 m in 50 g (190-210 yds in 1.75 oz).
