This is a very simple pattern with nice proportions. It knits very quickly, and the cozy is appropriate both for men and women.

The pattern is easy, so long as you know how to use double pointed needles. It’s a great starter project if you want practice with that.

Requires 4 double pointed needles in sizes 7 and 8 and 1 oz/28 grams worsted weight (heavy aran) yarn.

I highly recommend cotton worsted for it’s ability to insulate and absorb fluids.
