The medium bowl cozy shown in front perfectly fits a microwavable macaroni and cheese container; tiny bowl cozy fits a small PYREX 6 oz bowl, which is just perfect for a single scoop of ice cream; the larger bowl cozy fits a soup bowl about 6 inches wide by 3.5 inches tall; theoretically, this design is completely adjustable to fit your bowls, no matter the size.

This design could also be used to make covers for plant pots, or cup sleeves, or canister coverings.

Gauge is not critical for this project. Ensure you are using a sufficiently small needle to reduce the space between stitches.

It is important to use only 100% cotton or 100% superwash wool for items that will be subjected to heat, to avoid melting of the fibers.
