Gauge: 20 stitches in 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch

The samples were made using Cascade Superwash 220 and 4.5mm / US7 needles, Baby Hugs Light and 5mm / US8 needles, Brocco Pima 100 and 4mm needles.

You will need: yarn (up 80 grams for the smallest size and up to 160 grams for the largest size), knitting needles to obtain the gauge (please make a gauge swatch!), darning needle to weave in the yarn ends and to sew the crotch. One button, a stitch marker, scrap yarn or stitch holders.

The romper is knit in the round.

The pattern (along with 21 other newborn sized patterns) in newborn size only is also included in the book Tiny Knits for Tiny People (it is available on Amazon).
