Ribbed Sweater with Yoke
Note on source: Not all copies of the October 1965 issue will have this pattern. The set of doll sweater patterns is found in an advertising section toward the back of the magazine where the page numbers have the letter “B” after them. The content of the “B pages” varies (presumably by region?). Some copies of the magazine have the doll sweater patterns and some do not.
The pattern includes a knitted top and a fabric skirt with a crocheted waistband and lower edging.
Yarn: The pattern calls for “Small amounts of 3-ply fingering yarn.”
Additional materials: 3 snap fasteners for sweater; 4”x14” piece of fabric for skirt
The sweater is worked in one piece in 1x1 ribbing. It closes in the back with snaps. The skirt is sewn up the back and closes at the waist with a snap. It has a single crochet waistband and lower edge.
Sized for 10.5-inch to 12-inch fashion dolls with the 1960s body types.
