This knitting pattern for my ‘Ribbed Tank Top and Skirt’ is designed to fit an 18” American Girl doll.

The tank top is fully open in the back with 3 buttonholes for ease of dressing. Both the tank top and skirt are knit bottom-up. The PDF document includes both written instructions and a chart for the heart motif. Familiarity with two-colour knitting is recommended for the skirt.

Materials:
• DK (double knitting) or light-worsted weight yarn (such as Snuggly Baby Bamboo) in two colours
• 3.25 mm needles
• 4 buttons (3 for the top and 1 for the skirt)
• one yarn needle

Gauge:
approximately 27 stitches = 10 cm / 4 inches using 3.25 mm needles
