My ribbed trivet and coaster pattern are quick to work up and instructions are provided for making them with a wooden ring, braided loop, chain loop, or no loop. These pair nicely with my popular Ribbed Towel Holder pattern (available in my shop).

The overall dimensions are:

• Trivet: 8” x 8”
• Coaster: 4.5” x 4.5”

Level: Advanced beginner to intermediate

Supplies Needed (yarn recommendations and links to supplies are provided in pattern)

Towel Holders

• Trivet: 40 yards of bulky weight cotton or cotton blend yarn or 3mm cotton cord
• Coaster: 15 yards bulky weight cotton or cotton blend yarn or 3mm cotton cord (NOTE: Several yarn recommendations and substitutions are provided in pattern along with examples)
• 6.5 mm crochet hook Optional:
• For Trivet: 1 - 50mm or 60mm Wooden Ring
• For Coaster: 1 - 40mm or 45mm Wooden Ring
