Sizes
All of my patterns are #sizeinclusive through a 62” full chest.
(XS, S, M)L, 1X, 2X{3X, 4X, 5X} to fit chest measurement of:
(28, 32, 36)40, 44, 48{52, 56, 60}“
(71, 81.5, 91.5)101.5, 112, 122{132, 142, 152.5}cm
Garment Full Chest Measurement:
(24.5, 27.5, 32)36.5, 39.5, 45{49.5, 52.5, 56.5}“
(62, 70, 81.5)92.5, 100.5, 114.5{125.5, 133.5, 143.5}cm
This top is designed with 3-6.5”/7.5-16.5cm of negative ease at the full chest for a close fit. To choose your size, subtract 3-6.5”/7.5-16.5cm from your full chest measurement and choose the closest garment full chest measurement size. If you have a large bust in relation to your upper bust, or if you simply prefer a tighter fit, choose one size down from the recommended ease.
Suggested Yarn
$$$
Ritual Dyes Undine DK
(60/40 Organic Cotton/Linen, 273yds/100g, Natural Colorway)
$$
KnitPicks Cotlin (70/30 Cotton Linen, 123yds/50g)
While the sample was worked in a plant fiber blend, the pattern can be worked in any DK weight base you like. Wool will provide more warmth and elasticity. Just make sure you choose a fiber that is comfortable against your bare skin, since the top is fitted.
Suggested Needles
Main: US 4 (3.50mm) circular needles
Gauge
22 sts & 30 rows / 4”(10cm), 2x2 ribbing worked flat & in the round, blocked, measured unstretched
Note that since the fabric is ribbed, exact stitch gauge is not crucial. As long as your gauge is close, your top will fit.
Yarn Requirements
(450, 525, 600)675, 725, 800{875, 950, 1025} yds
(411, 480, 548)617, 663, 731{800, 868, 937}m
