Ribbel
The Ribbel socks are an absolute classic thanks to the 2/2 rib. The rib pattern creates an extra stretchy fabric, which makes the sock adapt to the form of your foot perfectly. The sock is worked from the toe up and there are two heel options: a gusset heel and heel flap and a German short row heel. After the heel, the leg is worked completely in 2/2 rib and finished with a 1/1 rib cuff, to provide some contrast. The Ribbel Socks are at their best when worked in a rustic woollen yarn, so the rib pattern can really pop.
