The Ribbel Hat is an absolute classic thanks to the 2/2 rib stitch and double folded brim. The rib pattern creates an extra stretchy fabric, which makes the hat adapt to the form of your head perfectly. There are two options included in the pattern: work the hat bottom up starting at the brim or top down starting at the crown, while working decreases or increases to shape the crown. The Ribbel Hat is at its best when worked in a rustic woolen yarn, so the rib pattern can really pop and maintain its shape, even after lots of wear.
