A bright, pinstriped ribbon folds its way down the length of this large, rectangular wrap. Modular construction and bias striping turn this relatively simple Garter Stitch shawl into a showstopper!

This wrap is worked flat and on the bias in two parts, and then joined with a long graft. Due to the size of the wrap and the stretchiness of the stitch pattern, I recommend working to a slightly smaller gauge than gauge swatch would indicate, and to check your gauge for consistency as you work through the project.

Yarn Selection:
This pattern is best suited to woolly yarns with a lot of bounce. It is not suited to super wash or other drapey fibres, as bias Garter Stitch has a tendency to stretch.
