Ladies sideways knitted 3x3 ribbed sweater has low neckline slot opening and set in, close fitted sleeves. Produced on a Passap E6000 (5mm gauge) however any yarn could be used on any machine providing tensions are matched or the pattern adapted. This was inspired by a much loved sweater purchased many years ago from a well known high street store. I had wanted to replicate it for a long time, but until now was unable to find the exact yarn, it’s a viscose ribbon or tape yarn which has a feel of a very luxurious silky cotton, drapes beautifully with a slight sheen. The Yarn is called 4ply, but is actually slightly heavier.
Written in one size (36”-41”, 91-104cm) bust this pattern can easily be adapted to other sizes as the body is knitted sideways so NO restriction by number of needles! The pattern, aimed at intermediate to advanced ability, is written in text format.
