The finished asymmetric shawlette measures about 4 feet by 16 inches with an icord edge knit as you go. This shawlette works well with a yarn having a long color lead. The shawlette has been minimally blocked to help keep the elasticity of the ribs.

To make the shawlette more wearable some light blocking may help. Soak the finished shawlette in warm water with a few drops of nonrinse wool wash for about 30 minutes, blot dry with towel and lay out to dry in ‘C’ shape shown in the side photo.
