I developed the Ribs Cowl as a sequel of the Ribs Shawl. It is fun to knit working with one color at a time and ribs striving in different directions. It looks good with two or more colors and sophisticated with just one color.

The cowl ist worked flat and sideways so that you can work it as a long loop or a tight cowl.

Den Ribs Cowl habe ich als Nebenmodell zum Ribs Tuch entwickelt. Man strickt jeweils nur mit einer Farbe. Der Cowl wird quer gestrickt, so dass man ihn so lang machen kann wie man möchte. Mit zwei oder mehr Farben wirkt er fröhlich, in uni sieht er durch die Rippen, die in verschiedene Richtungen laufen, interessant aus.

Der provisorische Anschlag wird zum Schluss im Maschenstich verbunden, wer sich nicht an einer ganz kleinen Naht stört kann aber auch Anfang und Ende zusammen abketten.
