Riccio (Hidden Brioche Hat)
by Corrado Lark
Update v 1.2, 5/2/18.
Can be found in “rado: an ebook magazine collection of six patterns” released 3/4/18.
Inspired by String Yarn’s cashmere blends, this is a soft, plush, cushiony hat design, and it’s all about the brim.
You’ll fly through this pattern, even if you’ve never done brioche before. It’s a great first brioche project because the final stitches are hidden. Be daring and just go for it!
Gauge: 18 stockinet stitches per 4” with bigger needles, and 7 brioche stitches per 4” with smaller needles.
2 50g skeins of contrasting worsted/aran weight yarn. It’s great with cashmere, but what isn’t!
