The Richmond Cowl is a roll neck cowl with a flared lace collar which turns a standard ribbed pattern cowl into an accessory fit for a splendid occasion. Decorated with beads and knitted
through with a shimmering gold thread, both of which are optional additions but they help to make this lace cowl something special.

The pattern is not yarn specific and is small enough to be a great stashbuster. The base should be knitted in a Super Chunky weight and the lace collar in a 4 ply metallic effect yarn. More details are with the pattern in the book.

This cowl is one of the many patterns in Modern Vintage Knitting: Volume 2 which is available worldwide on Amazon.

The pattern for the matching lace cuffs, shown in these images, is also available in the same book.
