This is the 16th in my Bowie series. This one is entitled Ricochet with Hi low hem, pleated front & sleeves with back opening. Quite an easy knit I give you 4 sizes. 0-3, 3-, 6-9 & 9-12 months. The only slightly tricky parts are the pleats, but, once you get the hang of them you will be pleating everything

I knit with Catherine Earnshaw fine, Merino dk and it took only 80g for the 0-3 month size.. A weightier dk will take 2 x 100g up to 3x 100g for largest size. If using 50g balls, buy 3 for the first 2 sizes, 4 for the third & 5 for the largest. This is knit flat with 4mm needles – 3.75mm needles for the borders. One small button, 2 stitch markers, a single double pointed needle smaller than 4mm, I used a 2.75mm one, as, it was to hand. A row counter is very handy, if not, use a pen & paper. Stitch holders x 2 – although I tend to use waste yarn. A tapestry needle for sewing up.
