Rickey The Dia De Los Muerta Hermit Crab
A beautiful skull shaped shell sank to the ocean floor and was claimed by Rickey the Hermit crab. Rickey could never pass a hitch-hiker, so had lots of Anemone, starfish, clams, and other sea creature friends hanging out! They just happened to arrange themselves into a Sugar Skull Doppelganger! Don’t you just LOVE Rickey!? I can’t WAIT to see the sea creatures YOUR Rickey decorates with!
Although I used Blanket yarn #6, this pattern is designed for any size, so make an adorable ornament or a giant bed-lurking monster!
With #6 super bulky and a K hook, Rickey is approximately 8” wide and 8” tall.
This is a really good stash buster! Just bits and pieces mostly, with the skull and crab body taking the most, and they are less that half a 300g skein!
You will also need fiberfil for the skull.
