Rick’s Seven-Pointed Sheriff Star was designed as a prize for the Nerdy Hookers Ravelry Group’s Walking Dead CAL and its design is based upon the Sheriff star that the character Rick wears, though of course it could be used for any number of zombie-free embellishment purposes ;)

The star is worked in the round with no joining and when completed in DK yarn with a 3.5mm hook measures approximately 9cm across.
Smooth yarns such as cotton or bamboo give a nice finish.

The pattern includes written instructions and a hand-drawn chart for reference.

The pattern size could be changed by adjusting the yarn and hook size used.
