Ride the Rising Tides

Written line by line instructions (abbreviated) and a Chart.

Basic Lace Stitches and Directionally Closed YO’s
create a reversible and deeply textured fabric reminiscent of moving water.

Wear as a scarf, long cowl or wrap. Tips provided for creating a joined/grafted loop cowl, and instructions included for a buttonholed cowl finish.

There are some unusual st constructions and symbols. Descriptions and video demonstration links provided…

Directional (right or left leaning) YO closures are used. Allowing angled movement without the lacy hole effect.

Gauge not critical but will affect dimensions and yardage.

Tips for maximum dimensional effect

Tightly plied, springy, round yarn.
Small sts / firm fabric.
Snug down decreases and YOs
Very light, or no blocking.
