Ridge Back is the third and final installation in Helicoid, a collection utilizing intarsia in the round. Using a mini skein and a full skein of yarn, it is a great solution to the problem of having that one gorgeous mini skein that is too beautiful to “just” go into a scrappy project. The mini skein is used on the heel of the foot, so keep that in mind when looking at fiber content or ply structure.

The sample socks used only about 60% of a full skein, so this would also be a good pattern for using up a larger scrap. A 20g mini is more than enough for the contrast color.

There is only one size listed in the pattern, but the pattern can be easily modified to fit a range of sizes.
