Designer Paula Narkiniemi’s childhood TV favourite was the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful. In the series, the heartbroken Ridge Forrester often retreated to his Big Bear cabin to grow out his beard and reflect on his relationships — often wearing a cosy, stylish turtleneck or something equally relaxed. This comfortable yet timeless turtleneck is knitted top down and features large cables and snug-fitting ribbings. A sweater Ridge would certainly have worn, too.
