1. crochet in the round
2. crochet from brim to back of head
3. 150 yards bulky yarn needed

sizes: 2-5t size
hat measures 8 inches (20.5cm) brim to back laid flat, fits a 2-5 year old head.

gauge: 2 rows of dc + 2 rows of hdc in the back loop measures 2 inches. When you do the foundation dc chain (the brim) it should measure 23 inches (59cm)

• st- stitch
• ch- chain
• hdc- half double crochet
• dc- double crochet
• fpdc- double crochet around the post of st
• side front/ side back loops - look for the loop on the side of the work (not on top) and work into that.
