This cozy hat and cowl set is a great accessory to keep you or your little kiddies warm in the cold weather. Since it uses a chunky weight yarn and a combination of simple knit and purl stitches, it makes for a fairly quick project.

I included both written and chart instructions for the middle ‘zig zag’ pattern on both pieces, just to make things a little clearer.

Don’t be afraid to get creative with a bold colored yarn or to add a fluffy pom pom at the end.
