It took me over a year to come up with the right stitch pattern for this scarf. I wanted something that started at a point, carried the angled center throughout and ended at a point. It finally came to me while working on another project and I am so happy with the result. I really love the effect it has: all the ridge lines moving in one direction across the scarf. Pair that with a gradient color scheme and you have a very striking scarf, shawl, or bed runner to accessorize with!

For my scarf I used one cake of Cotton Kings Sultan yarn. My finished scarf is 63” long and 10.5” wide. Use a thicker yarn and bigger hook for a shawl or bed runner. Easily adjust the length or width.

  • 1 cake of Cotton Kings Sultan yarn (about 875 yards of #2 cotton cake)
