These are named for the road where the dyer, Avalon Springs Farm, is located. The stitch pattern is easily memorized and good for yarns with variegation. It’s a good beginner sock!

Yarn: Avalon Springs Farm Pendragon, 100% Superwash Merino Wool, 555 yards/4oz (Sample knit in Garden Wishes)

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or two circular needles size 1.5 US (2.5 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 8 stitches per inch in stockinette, knit in the round.
