With stripes and simple purl ridges, the pattern is suitable for novice knitters who already know how to cast on, knit and purl. Instructions are included to knit flat (i.e. side to side on single point needles with a seam to sew up at the end) or in the round for a seamless hat.

You can use any 4ply (fingering) or 5ply sport weight yarn that knits to the same gauge. You will need 3 contrasting colours and no more than 60m of each colour
