This pattern uses two 50g balls of 4ply yarn with some left over. It is worked in the round in crochet and the brim is knitted. It uses mostly very basic stitches. The only possibly tricky stitch is front post treble but that is explained in the pattern. I give both UK and US stitich names. The English is listed first followed by the US in brackets
