This mitten pattern is easily adaptable to any size you would normally knit. The idea for this pattern is to feature the gorgeous variegated yarns that we all love, but can stump the best of us for how to use! Even with the largest size, you should be able to get two pairs of mittens out of a skein, as the largest sizes takes 220yd/200m for both mittens. hese are not 40 mittens, but they will serve well on days where you need more than a fingerless mitten, but don’t want to commit to winter mittens quite yet.

Materials: 1 Skein Cascade Yarns Heritage Silk Paints, 85% Superwash Merino/15% Silk, 437yd/400m; or other variegated sock yarn, 220yd/200m or more. Sample knit from colourway 9812, “Intense”

Needles: US1/2.25mm 40” (100cm) circulars for magic loop, or DPNs. Or, needles to get gauge.
