Pattern worked in half-double crochet.

For added texture half-double crochet in back loops only following row 1.

Any worsted weight cotton yarn can be used for this pattern.

Size G hook works great for this pattern, but for tighter stitches I recommend dropping down to an F hook.

Yarn needle and small amount of ribbon required for optional lacing.
