Designed for my knitting students who know how to knit and purl and are ready for a lot of practice, this simple cowl can be knitted in two lengths - either 25” to fit around the neck or 50” to be doubled. Fully reversible, you never have to worry about a “wrong” side showing!

Many people love a yarn that has some alpaca content for this project. Just make sure that the yarn feels soft to the skin on YOUR neck.

This is also an opportunity to use stash yarn, including handspun (the one in the picture is made from my handspun!), you may have laying about - just make sure you have about 200 grams!
