Crochet Pattern

Made for those days when there is quite a sharp nip in the air but not unbearably cold. The partially open weave of the stitch it is made in looks and feels welcoming and just a little airy. Both headband and the cowl are quick to work up and easy to work for any size. It will look good in almost any colour. Most of my headband and cowls are made in a way that require a simple increase or decrease of no. of rows of the pattern. This comes in super handy when you have to customise it.

Level of difficulty: Intermediate
Finished product size:
Headband- 19” 3.6”
Cowl- when open- 27” 6.5”, when closed- 21” * 6.5”
Gauge: 4” = 11 rows x 24 sts of side saddle pattern

Yarn: DK wool
Amount of Yarn Needed: 340 meters
