A lap sized blanket that involves only 3 stitches within the whole pattern.

If you want to make the blanket much bigger, just add more squares.

The gauge is not really necessary to worry about, all I can say is the yarn matches perfectly for a size 5mm needle.

I used 6 x 100g of Patons Wool Blend Aran in the Blue Yarn and 1.5 x 100g balls of Patons Wool Blend Aran in the Cream Yarn.

5mm straight knitting needles and then go onto circulars once you have sewn the squares together.
