I love oversized cowls, but I couldn’t find a pattern that I thought was chunky enough… so I made one myself!

This cowl is crocheted using 2 strands together for extra chunkiness. However, you could crochet it using just 1 strand. There is no gauge for this pattern, so you can make the cowl however long and wide you want it. Mine required about 1 1/2 skeins of Red Heart Super Saver worsted weight yarn in Burgundy, and it ended up being about 13” tall and 14” wide when sewn together
